I have the honor to state that I forwarded to Surg. C. Sutherland, Med. Purv. Washington D.C. on July 1st 1865 from Baltimore Md Seven (7) Boxes containing Hosp. Sup. for which I at that time also forwarded invoices and receipts.  The Spring and thumb lancet I forwarded by mail are included in the invoices sent then, but were overlooked at the time and sent afterward.  I cannot invoice for them again, as they were included in the former invoice.

The Spring and thumb lancet, at the time I mailed them, were complete and in good condition.

The receipts for the articles forwarded as above stated have not yet been received.
