I have the honor to state that I have [begin deleted text] forwarded [end deleted text] received a notification from the Quarter-Master Genl. dated Dec. 8th 1865 that my Affidavit pertaining to Clothing Camp & Garrison Equipage for the period I was in the U.S. Service has been received, examined and transmitted to your office for final action.  I have also received a certificate of non-indebtedness from the Chief of Ordnance dated Nov. 17th 1865 and would most respectfully ask that a certificate of non- [begin deleted text] indebtedness [end deleted text] accountability be forwarded me from your office as early as possable in order that I may procure my final pay.
