I have the honor to reply in answer to your communication dated Dec 8th 1864, calling for a report of the Sick & Wounded for the month of May 1864, of this Command.  The perscnption [begin inserted text] book which was registered to sick and wounded for that [end inserted text] were accidentally lost while on the march from Cole Harl[illegible] to Petersburg.  Consequently I have no other record to make it from--
