Abstract
This report, Prosecutorial Decision-making: A National Study is one of four published as a result of a three-year research project on prosecutorial decision-making in the United States. It presents the major findings of testing over 800 prosecutors throughout the United States. It examines prosecutorial discretion, its levels of uniformity and consistency both within and between offices and the factors used by prosecutors in making discretionary decisions.
