Local Climatological Data: Wilmington, Delaware Collection home page

Local Climatological Data contains daily and 3-hourly interval station readings of temperature (including minimum, maximum and degree days), relative humidity, precipitation, cloudiness, wind speed and direction observations. The Wilmington issue provides readings for the Wilmington Airport station (ILG).

Local Climatological Data is a monthly publication, with an annual summary of the past calendar year as well as historical averages and extremes. LCD has been published since 1931.

LCD is from the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC), a division of National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) of the U.S. Department of Commerce. These files are downloaded from the NCDC website for Local Climatological Data as per depository agreement. The University of Delaware Library is a Federal Depository Library.
