Terms in parentheses ( ) reflect the evaluation focus of each goal.Item Evaluation Results of the CLIMB to Employment Grant(Delaware Education Research & Development Center, 2004-01) Stazesky, Pamela B.; Gamel-McCormick, MichaelInterviews of Project CLIMB consumers, benefits counselors and Project CLIMB consortium members were conducted in order to determine the impact that the project is having related to benefits counseling for adults with disabilities. Staff of the Center for Disabilities Studies of the College of Human Services, Education, and Public Policy at the University of Delaware conducted 28 interviews with consumers from approximately 100 consumers who were contacted. In addition, four consortium members and benefits counselors were interviewed. The content of the interviews conducted with the consumers included: household configuration, educational history, disability information, benefits currently being received, perception of Project CLIMB services, and perceptions of supports and barriers to employment. Benefits counselors and consortium members also were asked about Project CLIMB services and perceptions of supports and barriers to consumers’ employment.Item Evaluation Results of the Delaware State Improvement Grant: Analysis of Baseline Assessment Results (Revised, January 2005)(Delaware Education Research & Development Center, 2004-04) Stazesky, Pamela B.In 2002, the U.S. Department of Education awarded a five-year State Improvement Grant (SIG) to the Delaware Department of Education in Dover, Delaware. This report details the baseline reading assessment results from the Delaware Student Testing Program (DSTP) for the 2003 spring administration. Phase I of this study examined the status and nature of FDK in Delaware (Fifield and Shepperson, 2004). This study examines the impact of FDK versus half-day kindergarten (HDK) on students’ performance on Delaware Student Testing Program (DSTP) assessments.
