DescriptionThe Delaware Department of Transportation conducted this study to explore the economic impact of Corporate Downsizing on the State of Delaware. The research draws attention to the impact of Corporate Downsizing beyond the downsizing corporation itself. The results show that downsizing affects not only the targets of the termination of employment but also their families, the local economy and the schools, commuting patterns, as well as a variety of components of the local community, the County, the State of Delaware, and surrounding States.en_US
