Abstract
This report presents a survey and description of work performed in the area
of rail overturning. It includes analytical work, as well as test results, both field
and laboratory. Comparisons between difficult tests and their results are made.
The various causes and related phenomena are discussed, together with suggested
techniques for dealing with this problem.
