DescriptionThe U.S. Program in Biology was the primary contribution of the United States to the International Indian Ocean Expedition of 1959-1965. The data in these files are the first definitive set of the sampling stations from the cruises of the Research Vessel Te Vega. These data were compiled from data from cruise reports and databases of the Smithsonian Institution, as will be described in a later document.
