| Abstract | Los sacerdotes salesianos llegaron a la Argentina a partir de 1875 y obtuvieron el apoyo de numerosas mujeres que se inscribieron en la Pía Unión de Cooperadores Salesianos. El objetivo del presente artículo es identificar las actividades de Enriqueta Alais de Vivot–primera Presidenta de la Comisión Central de Señoras Cooperadoras– y las representaciones construidas alrededor de ellas. A tal fin, se analiza la correspondencia intercambiada entre esta dirigente y el sacerdote José María Vespignani. El lapso abordado se inicia en 1900, año de constitución de la Comisión, y culmina en 1919, fecha de la muerte de la mencionada cooperadora. Abstract: The Salesian priests arrived in Argentina in 1875 and received the support of many women enrolled in the Pious Union of Salesian Cooperators. The goal of this paper is to identify the activities of Enriqueta Alais de Vivot, first President of the Central Commission of Women Cooperators, and the representations built around her activities. To this end, the correspondence between this leader and the priest José María Vespignani is analyzed beginning in 1900, year of the establishment of the Commission, and ending with her passing in 1919. | en_US |
