DescriptionThe Wilmington KIDS COUNT Fact Book 2009 is a snapshot of the well-being of children in Wilmington, Delaware. This fifth report is designed as a resource for policy makers and citizens to utilize in shaping local action to improve the status of children and families in Wilmington. The Fact Book is intended to present a variety of indicators providing a balanced perspective of how children and families are faring. This city-level book was first produced in 1999. The 2009 edition of the Wilmington KIDS COUNT Fact Book marks the tenth year that the project has been monitoring the well-being of Wilmington kids.en_US
