Description | Rosedale stands in a rural area 1.3 miles to the west of Middletown in the northwest corner of the junction of routes 435 and 437. The nominated parcel includes approximately five acres containing the house, grounds, and outbuildings. Of the numerous structures standing in the complex only the dwelling, hay barn, barn number 1 (see attached map), and mash furnace are elegible for listing. All other structures are noncontributing elements. | |
