DescriptionThe study consisted of three basic components: 1) a telephone interview of 419 non-members; 2) a mail survey of 202 current Girl Scouts and of 207 troop leaders; and 3) population projections for each county in the Chesapeake Bay Girl Scout Council. The survey covered a wide range of topics, such as program needs, the interests of young girls, and the attitudes of troop leaders.en_US
